RFID cards

With a non-contact RFID card (RFID = Radio Frequency Identification) from Colorplast, data can be transmitted without direct contact with a reading device or antenna. Data transfer is possible at a distance of up to 70 cm. Non-contact chip cards resist moisture, soiling, static charge and mechanical effects. They exhibit no wear even after intensive use. Colorplast produces RFID cards for applications including the following:

• ski passes
• personal IDs
• access control
• counting systems
• machine controls
• parking systems

The chip may be divided into multiple segments. This allows combined solutions using the same card.
